A police shooting involving one suspect caused a 210 Freeway closure of its westbound lanes in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.

A tunnel fire at the 110 freeway shut down traffic in both directions Tuesday morning.

Southbound 110 Freeway lanes reopen after a tunnel fire near the Port of LA. Northbound lanes remain closed with delays expected.

The fire, which investigators believe was ignited by people living in a homeless encampment, caused the closure of all lanes in both directions.

Los Angeles drivers are currently dealing with a nightmare on the roadway after a suspected homeless fire inside a tunnel has closed portions of the 110 freeway Monday night and into Tuesday morning.

The northbound side of the 110 Freeway remains closed in San Pedro Tuesday afternoon as firefighters continue to battle a homeless encampment fire burning inside a tunnel beneath the freeway. A Caltrans spokesperson told KTLA that road crews are unable to assess the freeway’s structural integrity while the fire is still burning.
