The northbound side of the 110 Freeway remains closed in San Pedro Tuesday afternoon as firefighters continue to battle a homeless encampment fire burning inside a tunnel beneath the freeway. A Caltrans spokesperson told KTLA that road crews are unable to assess the freeway’s structural integrity while the fire is still burning.
