The US State Department has approved a possible $373.6 million Foreign Military Sale of 1,532 JDAM-ER tail kits to Ukraine, with Boeing as prime contractor.

An April 1 test saw the munition deployed from an F/A-18 Super Hornet, fly approximately 200 miles in 34 minutes and strike within meters of its target.
