This simulation demonstrates a rectifier with capacitor filters and clearly shows how filtering improves DC output quality. The input is a 100 Hz AC signal applied to a diode rectifier, followed by different capacitor configurations. Without a capacitor, the output is a pulsating DC that closely follows the rectified waveform.
