Milling this huge oak chunk into table size slabs. This big chunk of wood was a little awkward to start as it has 3 limbs coming out of it. After trimming it a bit, I found a good place to put my ladder to be able to cut my first slab. The ladder is put on the log to make the first cut. You set the mill to cut underneath it and when done, the log is flat and you can readjust the mill to cut the slabs at your desired thickness. mill, bar and chain used are from Granberg International .
