Firefighters use different tools for different jobs. And, they use different apparatus (engines, tenders) for different situations. On the Plumas National Forest, firefighters have responded to several fires over the past few weeks, including the Beckwourth Complex. And, with the dry weather and very high to extreme fire danger expected to continue, fire crews could very well be responding to more.
