The making of a royal icing, stained glass cake :) these are all simple tools and ingredients that most of us would have at home already. I used a #4 piping tip, but I would recommend a #2 piping tip for thinner, more delicate lines. This also means the lines would dry faster, so it's less time waiting around for the fun bit, colouring in ;) I mixed vodka into my gel food colour drops, but only a little bit. I wanted to keep my edible paint as thick as possible in order to get nice, rich colours
