An Abstraction, @pendleton.adam's first solo gallery exhibition in New York in 10 years, opens tomorrow, May 2, from 6-8pm at our 540 West 25th Street gallery. Through architectural dynamics, Pendleton brings the formal architectures of his paintings into the exterior spaces beyond his canvases, encouraging a deeper, more totalizing encounter for the viewer—a “hyper-awareness of all the dynamics at work or at play,” as he puts it. "It’s about activating the in-between space—the space between the
