Trauma Intervention Program gets record-setting number of calls, asks community for help

EPD’s Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) is made possible through Community Safety Payroll Tax funding and provides trained community volunteers who respond alongside first responders to offer emotional support to people experiencing tragedy or trauma. Whether it’s helping a family after a sudden loss, comforting someone at a crash scene, or connecting survivors to resources, TIP volunteers step in during life’s hardest moments, offering presence, care, and humanity when it’s needed most. | Eugen
